Giving
GolinHarris is committed to the communities where we do business. Our offices support a wide range of charitable organizations, and encourage employees to get involved in activities that matter to them.
Among others, we support the American Red Cross, Chicago's Off the Street Club, Project Angel Food in Los Angeles, Shake-A-Leg-Miami, Baylor Breast Cancer Center in Houston, City Harvest in New York and Habitat for Humanity in Singapore. We also support our not-for-profit clients, such as Ronald McDonald House Charities and Special Olympics, with significant additional pro bono support.
Project G.I.V.E.
We encourage employee involvement through Project G.I.V.E., which supports volunteering efforts in the following ways: (1) by providing information on volunteering; (2) by conducting one-on-one volunteering consultation sessions to help employees find appropriate volunteering opportunities, and (3) by allowing up to two hours of flextime per month for regular, full-time employees to be away from the office during business hours for volunteer activities.
The Hong Kong office took 40 students to learn more about the HEC power stations on Lamma Island.
The Chicago office took a day to give back by painting the local YMCA.
